Aventon Companies Announces $100 Million+ Project at Huntington Metro Station
Multifamily development positioned to advance Route 1 corridor revitalization
Fairfax County, VA (May 6, 2021) – Aventon Companies announced the start of construction for Aventon Huntington, a 366-unit apartment community located adjacent to the Huntington Metro station in Alexandria, Virginia. The new property is ideally situated just south of Washington, DC and within a few miles of Old Town Alexandria, the Capital Beltway, Reagan National Airport and Amazon’s future headquarters in National Landing. The Huntington submarket is experiencing a rapid transformation from an automobile-centric community with a limited supply of new housing to a thriving transit hub with a mix of uses.

Located on approximately four acres at 5919 N. The building will be certified Silver under the National Green Building Standard for sustainability.
In January 2020, Aventon announced the start of construction on Aventon Crown, another $100 million + community that will bring 386 new apartment homes to Crown, a master-planned community in Montgomery County, MD. Aventon Crown will launch pre-leasing in July.
