Aventon Companies to Build First Residential Community in the Gem Lake Water District
New Community Brings Waterfront Living and Connection to Neighboring Ravaudage
Orlando, Florida (February 26, 2021) – Aventon Companies is set to start construction on Aventon Gem Lake, a 247-unit ultra-luxury residential community in the newly master-planned Gem Lake Water District located in Orlando’s Maitland-Winter Park submarket, one of the most sought after in all of Florida.
The new five-story, mid-rise building, located just west of U.S. 17-92, will adjoin Winter Park’s Rauvadage, a highly successful and walkable mixed-use neighborhood that includes multifamily residential, two hotels, a senior living community, numerous restaurants, and office space. In addition to Aventon Gem Lake, future office, retail, and restaurants are planned for the Gem Lake Water District.

The spacious apartment homes at Aventon Gem Lake will range in size from one-bedroom to three-bedrooms with upscale features and market-leading finishes and technology. The property will provide more than 12,000 square feet of indoor amenity space, including a state-of-the-art fitness center and yoga studio, remote work offices and associated remote communication spaces, automated package delivery, indoor/outdoor private dining room, coffee bars, pet spa, and a pool-side social lounge. Outdoor spaces will include a private resort-style pool, cabanas with day beds, hammock garden, outdoor kitchen with grills and dining spaces, and a dog park. The community will also include covered, secured structured parking for all residents.
Maitland-based Scott + Cormia Architects designed the building and Winter Park-based Beasley Henley Interior Design will bring its trendsetting finishes to the interior.
